Inflation-indexed pensions from this summer

Emmanuel Macron's flagship project is the extension of the retirement age, but it will not be for now.

Once the new government is elected, there will first be about six months of negotiations with the unions to discuss long careers or even hardship.

If the reform is adopted, it will then be gradually deployed to reach retirement at age 64 in 2027. If it is adopted, and only in this case, retirement pensions will increase to a minimum of 1,100 euros per month for full careers .

Solidarity at the source for the mid-term

As for the other major reforms, solidarity at the source could come into effect at mid-term.

This is the automatic payment of the RSA or family allowances without the beneficiaries needing to apply for them.

Finally, no timetable has been put forward for the moment concerning the transformation of Pôle emploi into France Travail.

This reform aims to bring together in a single window all the services working on the issue of returning to work.
