Gasoline prices at domestic gas stations fell slightly this week, continuing their decline for the fourth week in a row.

According to the Korea National Oil Corporation, the average selling price of gasoline at gas stations nationwide in April was 1,967.8 won per liter, down 9.3 won from the previous week.

Domestic gasoline prices followed international oil prices for 10 consecutive weeks from the beginning of the year to the end of last month, reaching the highest level in 10 years since 2012, and then turning to a downward trend due to the US-led release of oil stockpiles.

The recent weekly gasoline price drop was 9.6 won two weeks ago, 13.3 won last week, and 9.3 won this week, and it is dropping by 1-2 won per liter every day.
