In the early morning of April 22, the swivel bridge across the Hunan-Guangxi Railway on the Najiu Bridge on the Nanyu Railway successfully spun.

This is the first swivel bridge on the whole line of the Nanyu Railway to complete the swivel, marking a new breakthrough in the construction of the project and laying a solid foundation for the completion and opening of the Nanyu Railway as scheduled.

At 0:40 a.m. that day, the management personnel controlled the precision through the computer, strictly controlled the position, and began to turn.

Pulled by two jacks and traction cables, the 4,500-ton, 84.6-meter-long T-frame beam began to slowly rotate counterclockwise.

At 1:37, the beam successfully completed an elegant "turn" of 65° and was precisely in place.

The Najiu Bridge is located in Najiu Village, Qingxiu District, Nanning City.

The bridge crosses the existing line of the Hunan-Guangxi Railway, and the distance from the nearest pier to the railway is only 12 meters.

In order to avoid affecting the driving safety and speeding up the construction progress, the bridge was constructed by the swivel method, the beam body was poured parallel to the outside of the railway line, and finally the jack was used to pull it into place.

In an interview with a reporter from China News Agency, Lin Jun, the project manager of Nanyu Railway, said that in order to ensure the smooth rotation, the project adopts the RPC spherical hinge with the integrated mode of rotation facilities, which is the first case in the southwest region.
