Renfe is going to put

100,000 long-distance and AVE tickets on sale at a price of €15

.

The reason for this offer is the 30th anniversary of the high-speed train in Spain, which began its commercial service on April 21, 1992 with the

Madrid-Seville trip.

The offer will be valid from tomorrow,

Friday, April 22, until Sunday, April 24,

and will allow you to buy tickets to travel to any national destination

between July 1 and September 30 of this year.

Since Renfe came into circulation, it has transported almost

465 million passengers

on high-speed trains, according to the railway operator.

The company currently has a fleet of

229 trains that travel more than 3,726 kilometers

on high-speed tracks on

13 lines that pass through 57

Spanish cities, which allows

70% of the population to have high-speed services.

The last destination to be added to the list of places that can be reached by AVE was

Galicia

and, since December, the

Madrid-Orense

route can be completed in

2 hours and 15 minutes.
