The Ioniq 5 was declared the winner in all 3 categories by a jury made up of 102 automotive journalists from 33 different countries.

In February, this same jury awarded Luc Donckerwolke, Chief Creative Officer at the Hyundai Motor Group, the title of "2022 World Car Person of the Year", in particular for his contribution to the Ioniq 5.

These awards are obviously flattering for Hyundai, whose Ioniq 5 is the first model of a new generation of 17 electric cars that the group will bring to market by 2030. This will represent an expected annual sales volume of 1.87 million vehicles.

With its 77.4 kWh battery, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 offers a range of 480 km (WLTP).

In addition, this battery with a voltage of 800 V, is capable of supporting ultra-fast recharges (it only takes 18 minutes to go from 10 to 80%).

Still on the technological side, remember that the Ioniq 5 is one of the few vehicles on the market to have the innovative Vehicle-to-Load technology allowing the electricity stored in the battery to be used to operate outdoor equipment.
