On April 12, Chai Wenzhong, a first-level inspector of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban Management, introduced the "Beijing City Management Development Plan during the 14th Five-Year Plan" period and said that during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, there will be 46 domestic waste treatment facilities in Beijing. The harmless treatment rate of domestic waste is 100%.
During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Beijing strengthened the construction of the recyclables system, and the recycling rate of domestic waste reached more than 37.5%, achieving "zero landfill" of primary domestic waste.
