It was during the 2022 Rome E-Prix that Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares drove the prototype of the future Maserati GranTurismo on the Formula E circuit in the Eternal City.

This will be the first model in Maserati's history to be available in a 100% electric version.

Manufactured in the Mirafiori production center, it will make its market debut in 2023. It is not yet known how, but it seems that it will offer the characteristic sound of Maserati.

State-of-the-art technical solutions, top-notch performance, not to mention comfort and elegance, will also be part of it.

Formula E was therefore a natural choice for the Trident brand, which will become the first Italian brand to participate in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

Maserati will also be the first Italian luxury car brand to produce 100% electric models.

The electric range will be complete by 2025, and all Maserati models will be fully electric by 2030. Lovers of fine mechanics, hurry up while there's still time (or buy tissues…).
