The demonstration experiment was conducted by Osaka Metro and others, and 19 vehicles such as a small bus for automatic operation were prepared at the experiment venue set up in Maishima, an artificial island in Osaka City.



In addition to running an automatically driven bus and a small vehicle for delivery at a speed of about 20 km / h in the experimental venue where traffic lights and pedestrian crossings were installed as if it were an actual road, company officials confirmed the ride quality. , I was checking if I could drive smoothly along the curve of the road and if I could drive without overlooking the traffic light.



The vehicle used in this experiment is at a stage where high technology called "Level 4" is required to drive completely automatically after limiting the location, and there is no driver's seat or steering wheel.
