Spring is blooming, the climate is mild, and everything is recovering

After the spring rain, wild mushrooms began to grow from the south to the north. During the epidemic prevention period, friends who had not been outdoors for a long time were thinking about going out to pick wild mushrooms.

Before picking, you should review the following consumption tips.

Involuntary consumption of wild mushrooms

Wild mushrooms in my country are widely distributed in forests, grasslands, plains, roadsides, etc.

There are many kinds of mushrooms, more than 36,000 species.

There are more than 1,000 kinds of edible mushrooms, but there are also more than 480 kinds of poisonous mushrooms, among which there are more than 40 kinds of mushrooms that are highly poisonous and can cause death!

At present, there is no simple scientific method to identify whether wild mushrooms are poisonous or not. According to the "experience" circulated among the people, there is no guarantee to avoid poisoning caused by accidental picking and eating of wild poisonous mushrooms.

Therefore, when you are out on a spring outing, do not eat wild mushrooms, and do not buy wild mushrooms that are picked and sold by individuals.

For wild mushrooms sold in the market, you cannot let your guard down, especially wild mushrooms that you have never eaten or don’t know, and should never be eaten lightly.

Seek immediate medical attention if symptoms of poisoning occur

Different types of poisonous mushrooms contain different toxins and cause different symptoms of poisoning.

The manifestations of wild mushroom poisoning are: gastrointestinal poisoning, neuropsychiatric, hemolytic, liver damage, renal failure, respiratory and circulatory failure, and photosensitivity dermatitis.

Among them, the gastrointestinal poisoning type is the most common, and the liver damage type causes the most deaths.

Generally, after eating poisonous mushrooms by mistake, the shortest can be 10 minutes and the longest can be 6-12 hours later.

If you experience dizziness, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, restlessness, hallucinations and other poisoning symptoms after eating wild mushrooms, induce vomiting and seek medical attention immediately.

Producers and operators to achieve "three nos"

When processing and selling wild mushrooms, producers and operators should not collect, process, or manage mushrooms they do not know, and should ensure that no poisonous mushrooms are mixed with the mushrooms they process and sell.

Otherwise, you must bear the corresponding economic and legal responsibilities.

Relevant units to warn of risks

During the wild mushroom feeding period, the supervisory departments and relevant units in the areas where mushrooms are produced and in the habit of eating wild mushrooms should publicize them through various forms and advertise to the public that they should not pick and eat wild mushrooms at will.

At the same time, according to the poisoning characteristics of accidentally ingested poisonous mushrooms in various places, combined with factors such as temperature, humidity, rainfall, etc., early warning forecasts are made before the mushrooms mature, and risk warnings or consumption reminders are issued in time.

In places where poisoning by mistakenly ingesting poisonous mushrooms has occurred, it is recommended to erect warning signs with photos of poisonous mushrooms.
