According to the Korea National Oil Corporation oil price information service Opinet, the average selling price of gasoline at gas stations nationwide in the last week of March recorded 2,000 won per liter, down 1.9 won from the previous week.



Domestic gasoline prices rose for 10 consecutive weeks from January of this year to last week in line with the rise in international oil prices. has stopped.



The average price of gasoline this week in Seoul, the highest price region, was 2,68.5 won per liter, down 10.1 won from the previous week, and Gwangju, the lowest price region, recorded 1,976.6 won, down 1.6 won from the previous week.



By brand, GS Caltex gas station was the most expensive at 27.7 won per liter on average, and thrifty gas station was the cheapest at 1,971.4 won.



However, the selling price of diesel at gas stations nationwide this week was 1,919.8 won per liter, up 1.7 won from the previous week.




The government has extended the 20% fuel tax cut for three months.



In addition, we are reviewing a plan to expand the range of fuel tax cuts from the current 20% to 30%, and we plan to finalize it on the 5th.



If the fuel tax cut rate is expanded to the legal maximum of 30%, the tax per liter of gasoline will be reduced to 574 won.



It is 246 won less than before the fuel tax cut, and 82 won less than when the 20% cut rate was applied.
