On April 1, the website of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism released the "Notice of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Emergency Management, the Ministry of Market Supervision, and the General Administration of Market Supervision on Regulating the Business Activities of Scripted Entertainment (Draft for Comment)", in order to regulate "" For scripted entertainment business activities such as "Script Killing" and "Escape Room", it is planned to require that those engaged in scripted entertainment business activities shall register with the local market supervision department at or above the county level in accordance with the law and obtain a business license, and the business scope is registered as "scripted entertainment activities".
In addition, the draft for comments proposes to require that the script scripts used by script entertainment business units should be set up with age-appropriate reminders, indicating the appropriate age range; if the set scenes are not suitable for minors, they should be reminded in prominent positions, and minors should not be allowed to enter.
Except for national statutory holidays, rest days and winter and summer vacations, scripted entertainment business activities shall not be provided to minors

The draft for comments also proposes to require that the script entertainment business unit shall, within 30 natural days from the date of operation, provide information such as the address of the business site, the name of the script script used in the site, the author, brief introduction, and age range, etc., through the technical supervision and service of the national cultural market. The platform shall report to the county-level cultural and tourism administrative department where the business site is located for the record.
If the main content of the script is added or updated, the above-mentioned information of the script shall be reported to the original filing department for the record within 30 natural days from the date of use.
It is proposed that script entertainment business units should adhere to the correct orientation,
establish a content self-examination system, and conduct content self-examination of script scripts, performances, scenes, props, costumes, etc.
, to ensure that the content is legal.
Script entertainment business activities shall not contain content prohibited by laws and regulations such as the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Minors, the Regulations on the Administration of Entertainment Places, and the Regulations on the Administration of Commercial Performances.
