Etihad Rail and Dubai Industrial City, a subsidiary of TECOM Group, have announced a state-of-the-art freight station, spanning over an area of ​​5.5 million square feet, in Dubai Industrial City.

The station, which is the result of close cooperation between Etihad Rail and Dubai Industrial, over the past years, will contribute to consolidating the UAE's position as a global center for trade, and enhancing Dubai's competitiveness in the fields of industry, logistics, transport, trade and investment worldwide.

Shadi Malak, CEO of Etihad Rail, said that the station contributes to enhancing the supply chain and freight logistics services.

He added, "The station, with a capacity of five million tons, will connect the country's industrial and production centers, open new trade corridors, and contribute to promoting the sustainable development achieved by the country."
