Egypt signs an agreement with Israel

The Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry announced that an agreement to facilitate access to goods had been signed between Egypt and Israel.

According to the Egyptian "Sada Al-Balad" website, the ministry explained that the signing took place in the presence of Minister of Planning Hala Al-Saeed and Minister of Industry Neven Jameh with the Israeli Minister of Economy Orna Barifiyi. The QIZ aims to increase export capabilities during the next stage, especially in light of the quest to overcome the repercussions of the current global conditions.

During the discussions, they dealt with frameworks for joint cooperation between the two countries to activate the inter-trade and investment capabilities that the two sides enjoy, which is reflected in the increase in economic growth rates, including the optimal investment of the size and scope of the “QIZ” agreement and facilitating the access to exports of a number of goods between the two countries, through Agreement to formulate specific procedures reciprocally in this context.
