For several years, the GLC has been Mercedes-Benz's best-selling model.

The third generation will continue this success story in the fall of 2022. On the menu, a second-generation infotainment system, a digitized cabin, a steered rear axle and much more.

Under the hood, there is a choice of a 1999 cc 4-cylinder petrol engine developing up to 258 hp and 400 Nm, or a Diesel, also 4-cylinder, 1993 cc, delivering up to 265 hp and 550 Nm.

All engines will be electrified with a 2nd generation starter-alternator integrated into the transmission, with an output of 17 kW and 250 Nm of torque, combined with a 48-volt on-board electrical system.

Plug-in hybrids (2 petrol, 1 diesel) will also be based on these two versions, with a 4th generation electric motor (100 kW – 440 Nm) integrated into the 9G‑TRONIC automatic transmission.

For these plug-in models, Mercedes announces an electric range of more than 100 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.
