National Energy Administration: Continue to promote energy short-board technology and equipment research

Science and Technology Daily, Beijing, March 29 (Reporter Liu Yuanyuan) On the 29th, the National Energy Administration announced the latest "Guiding Opinions on Energy Work in 2022" (hereinafter referred to as "Opinions").

The "Opinions" clarified the main goals of energy work in 2022, including: the total national energy production will reach about 4.41 billion tons of standard coal, the crude oil output will be about 200 million tons, and the natural gas output will be about 214 billion cubic meters.

Adequate power supply will be ensured, and the power generation will reach about 9.07 trillion kilowatt-hours.

The proportion of non-fossil energy in total energy consumption has increased to about 17.3%, and the proportion of wind power and photovoltaic power generation in the total electricity consumption has reached about 12.2%.

In terms of accelerating the green and low-carbon transformation of energy, the "Opinions" propose to increase efforts to plan and build stable, safe and reliable UHV power transmission and transformation lines based on large-scale wind and solar bases, supported by clean, efficient, advanced and energy-saving coal-fired power around them. It is a new energy supply and consumption system for the carrier.

Organize and carry out the "Thousands of Towns and Tens of Villages Action to Harness the Wind" and "Thousands of Households to Shine the Light" according to local conditions.

The "Opinions" require: "Intensify efforts to tackle key problems in energy technology equipment and core components, actively promote the digital and intelligent upgrade of the energy system, and improve the modernization level of the energy industry chain."

In terms of strengthening energy science and technology research, the "Opinions" propose to implement a number of major technological innovation projects in the form of "revealing the list and taking command" to consolidate the advantages of renewable energy and clean and efficient utilization of coal technology and equipment, and accelerate breakthroughs in a number of new power system key technologies.

Continue to promote technical and equipment research on energy shortcomings, focusing on technical research in key fields such as gas turbines, oil and gas, UHV power transmission, and control systems.

The "Opinions" also proposed that several innovative platforms should be added around six key areas, including new power systems, new energy storage, hydrogen energy and fuel cells, carbon capture, utilization and storage, digital and intelligent energy systems, and energy system security.
