Zhongxin Finance, March 29 (Peng Jingru) According to the official website of the National Health and Health Commission, the National Health and Health Commission and the State Food and Drug Administration drafted the "Work Plan for the Temporary Import of Clinically Urgently Needed Drugs" and the "Temporary Import of Clobazam". Work Plan" and openly solicit opinions from the public.

According to the above plan, the medical institutions that intend to lead the import and use of clobazam include dozens of medical institutions including Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Peking University First Hospital, Beijing Children's Hospital, Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, etc.

According to China Central Broadcasting Network, clobazam is a treatment drug suitable for anxiety disorders and refractory epilepsy. In the British Martindale Drug Code, the drug is not the first choice drug, and is generally used as an adjuvant drug.

In my country, clobazam belongs to the central nervous system anti-epileptic drug and is classified as a Class 2 psychoactive drug, which has not been approved for marketing in China before.

Earlier, the family members of four children with epilepsy in Zhongmu County, Henan Province helped the owner of the family group "Iron Horse Binghe" to collect "Clobazam" packages purchased overseas. The decision not to prosecute was made based on the minor crime of the mother of the four children.

The purchasing agent "Iron Horse Binghe" became the only defendant to be prosecuted in the case. The first instance of the case was heard on March 18.

Before the first-instance trial of the "Iron Horse Binghe" suspected of smuggling, transporting and selling drugs, the father of another child, "Songsong Dad", submitted a joint petition letter to the Zhongmu County People's Court together with more than 100 patients.

"'Iron Horse Binghe' helped our patients to buy medicines. I don't think he is guilty, because his child also has the same disease. He also helped many of our patients to buy medicines that their children must take."

Now, these children are expected to take this drug through legal channels and get the chance to take the medicine normally.
