The Saverne court on Tuesday gave the green light to the takeover of the emblematic manufacturer of supermarket trolleys Caddy, bankrupt since the beginning of the year, by the northern industrial group Cochez.
“It is accepted”, indicated, at the end of a hearing in camera, Me Claude-Maxime Weil, one of the judicial administrators.
Caddy thus escapes, after weeks of uncertainty, liquidation, but its workforce will be reduced by almost 20%, from 139 to 113 employees.
