36.7 million people have already received inflation compensation on March 8, said Olivier Dussopt, Minister of Public Accounts, on Sud Radio.

But the account is not good: indeed, 38 million people were eligible.

This means that there are still 1.3 million indemnities to be distributed.

A platform allowing the forgotten to claim compensation was to be put online by the end of the month, the Office of the Minister of Public Accounts said at the same time.

Good news for those who still hope to reach it, the service will be set up “from March 25” can we read on the government website.

But distrust, because the entourage of Olivier Dussopt announces to Capital that the platform will open rather "by the beginning of next week".

No payment deadline

To claim payment of the compensation, the beneficiaries must connect using FranceConnect from the Mesdroitsociaux.gouv.fr portal.

A space will relate to the complaint.

“If the people are eligible, the system will invite them to fill out a form, including their bank details, to receive the compensation” specifies the office of the Minister of Public Accounts.

No indication, however, of the payment period for this premium, once it has been claimed.

Who can claim inflation compensation?

All French people (private sector employees, job seekers, self-employed, civil servants, retirees, beneficiaries of social minima, etc.) who receive less than 2,000 euros net per month are concerned.

The compensation is paid by the employer or the organization on which the beneficiary depends.

But if no RIB or Iban has been transmitted, there can be no payment.

This is one of the reasons why some beneficiaries could not receive the compensation.

Those who combine several statuses are also penalized.
