But from one branch to another, the agreements on wage increases diverge.

In general, companies have rather taken into account the inflation forecast at the beginning of the year.

According to the National Association of HRDs, the envelope for increases has often been around 3%, not counting individual increases, but agreements have not always been found.

This is the case in the automotive sector, but in this sector, profit-sharing bonuses have been able to lower the tension a notch.

Negotiations suspended for the bank

On the other hand, discontent is rising in the banking sector: barely 1% increase obtained in companies.

At branch level, negotiations are suspended.

"The results that have been garnered by the banks, the fact that inflation is so strong... It is absolutely necessary that bank employees be recognized for the work they have provided during the crisis", insists Mireille Herriberry , federal secretary of Force Ouvrière Banque, so that "their purchasing power is supported, which is unfortunately not the case".

Another sector concerned, aeronautics, whose activity is picking up again with full order books.

He is experiencing turbulence with unprecedented protest movements at Thalès, Safran and Dassault Aviation, where empty factory days have been decreed every Friday for several weeks.

Finally, at the RATP, the tension has not disappeared.

Last month's protests also concerned purchasing power and wages.
