On March 18, the last unit of the Yalong River Lianghekou Hydropower Station, the highest one million kilowatt hydropower station in my country, completed a 72-hour trial operation and was officially put into commercial operation.
So far, the six 500,000-kilowatt units of the Lianghekou Hydropower Station have all been put into operation.
Lianghekou Hydropower Station is located in Yajiang County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan. It is a key project of the state and Sichuan Province and a strategic project to optimize the structural adjustment of the energy supply side in the western development. It is planned to be completed in 2023.
