A few days ago, as the first batch of power grid projects in Xiong'an New Area in 2022, 15 projects including Xiong'an 500 kV power transmission and transformation project, No. 12 110 kV power transmission and transformation project in the starting area, and 110 kV power transmission and transformation project at Xiongdong No. 1 were started. , with a total investment of more than 1 billion yuan.
After the project is completed, it will further build a world-class power grid in Xiongan New Area, providing a strong power guarantee for the new area to undertake Beijing's non-capital functions and large-scale development and construction.
The reporter learned from State Grid Hebei Electric Power Co., Ltd. that the company has invested more than 10 billion yuan in the past five years in order to build a green, strong and smart grid in Xiongan.
According to the plan, two 500 kV power transmission and transformation projects are planned to be constructed during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period of the Xiong'an New Area Power Grid.
Among them, the Xiongdong 500 kV power transmission and transformation project started in September 2020 and will be completed and put into operation in September this year; the Xiong'an 500 kV power transmission and transformation project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in June 2024.
After the completion of the two 500 kV power transmission and transformation projects, a 500 kV C-shaped ring network will be formed around the west and north of Xiongan New Area, which plays an important role in meeting the growing demand for electricity load in the new area and improving the reliability of power supply.
"Xiongan 500 kV power transmission and transformation project will pilot the application of new modular construction technology, adopt international leading advanced technologies such as prefabricated steel structures and mirror-faced fair-faced concrete, implement digital actual measurement of the whole process, and strive to create a low-energy three-star green Building." said Di Shihui, head of the Xiong'an 500 kV power transmission and transformation project.
In the past five years, Xiongan Power Grid has built the first clean energy channel in Xiongan New Area—the 1000 kV UHV power transmission and transformation project from Zhangbei to Xiongan, and put into operation the 220 kV Jucun, Hexi 110 kV power transmission and transformation projects, and Hexi - Projects such as Aowei Line, the digital active power grid demonstration project, the first power distribution "double petal" high-reliability power supply demonstration project, the Xiongan high-speed railway station comprehensive energy project, and the Wangjiazhai new power system village-level demonstration project have been launched one after another. The power grid planning of the new district has gradually become a reality from a blueprint.

We plan to invest more than 2 billion yuan to fully promote the construction of Xiongan's digital active power grid, and strive to create high-quality projects and demonstration projects to serve the development of Xiongan New Area."
