Following OB Beer, Hite Jinro decided to raise the price of beer, and the price of beer sold at restaurants is expected to rise by about 1,000 won.

Hite Jinro announced on the 23rd that it will raise the factory price of beer such as Terra and Hite by an average of 7.7%.



It is the first time in six years since 2016 that Hite Jinro raised the price of beer, and on the 8th, OB Beer raised the factory price of domestic beer products such as 'Obi', 'Hanmac' and 'Cas'.



The company explained that the increase in beer prices was due to the increase in the prices of raw and subsidiary materials such as barley and logistics costs.



However, an official from Lotte Chilsung Beverage, which sells 'Cloud', said that no decision has been made regarding the price increase at this time.



Following OB Beer, Hite Jinro raises prices, and restaurant beer prices are expected to follow in the near future by about 1,000 won.



The price of fermented milk products will also increase.



Namyang Dairy said it would raise the factory price of fermented milk products, including Bulgaris, by an average of 3.5% starting next month.



The price increases include fermented milk to drink, fermented milk to drink, and regular yogurt products.



It is the first time in about 4 years that Namyang Dairy has raised the price of fermented milk products.



Namyang Dairy said that it decided to raise the price last year because overall production costs such as logistics and labor increased along with crude oil prices last year.



Namyang Dairy Company also raised the factory price of instant coffee products last month, and the price of stick coffee increased by 9.5% on average and the price of ready-to-drink cup coffee by 7.5% on average.
