The A-share financial report shows that in 2021, China Telecom's operating income will be 434.2 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), a year-on-year increase of 11.3%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company will be 25.952 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24.4%.

Capital expenditure was $86.7 billion.

  Cloud computing is one of the company's revenue growth points.

In 2021, Tianyi Cloud's revenue will double to 27.9 billion yuan, ranking first in the industry.

5G is also progressing steadily, co-constructing and sharing with China Unicom. The number of 5G base stations in use exceeds 690,000, and the 5G network covers all cities and counties and some developed towns and towns across the country.

  According to reports, in 2021, China Telecom will deploy data centers, DCI networks, computing power and Tianyi Cloud in an all-round way, focusing on the national "East Digital and Western Computing" project and the layout of an integrated big data center, and deploy a forward-looking computing power network.

At present, China Telecom has more than 700 data centers, and the scale of external service racks has reached 470,000, of which nearly 80% are deployed in 4 key areas, including Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and Chengdu-Chongqing. The layout of the integrated big data center is highly compatible.

  Ke Ruiwen introduced that under the trend of the development of the digital economy, the demand for computing power has shown an explosive growth.

In 2021, China Telecom will provide 300,000 cloud servers for external services, forming a computing power scale of 2.1EFLOPS (FLOPS represents the number of floating-point operations performed per second, 2.1E is equal to 2.1 times 10 to the 18th power) .

China Telecom plans to further increase the scale of computing power to about 3.8EFLOPS in 2022, and the computing power will increase by more than 80% year-on-year.

  Ke Ruiwen said that the "East Digital and Western Computing" project has been fully launched, which will help China Telecom give full play to the advantages of cloud-network integration, further optimize the layout of computing resources, and reduce data center operating costs. The company will surely become the "East Digital Western Computing" project. main force and biggest beneficiary.
