Angry farmers.

Like individuals, they suffer from the increase in the price of their fuel.

GNR, the non-road diesel used for their tractors, has almost doubled.

It is now the same price as at the pump.

To show their dissatisfaction, a symbolic action was organized Tuesday in Avelin in the North.

Unusual scene at the Total station in Avelin.

Farmers put fuel in the tank of their tractor.

Like individuals, they suffer from the increase in the price of their fuel.

Stéphane, operator, hangs up the gun.

He deplores the price of GNR, non-road diesel, now at the same price as that of individuals.

"It's exactly the same price being delivered to us. We've doubled in not even a year. So you might as well get supplies at the pump. It's the same," said this farmer at the microphone of Europe 1.

Too much fluctuation

The other concern relates to the variations in the price of fuels as explained by Adrien, member of the rural coordination of the North.

"A fortnight ago, we ordered diesel at 1€60 per litre. Three days later, it rose to 1€90."

With many fluctuations, companies abuse, laments Stéphane: "I had two offers on the same day with 200 euros, even 300 euros difference at the same time. That's the problem."

As a direct consequence of this surge in non-road diesel, more load as farmers begin their period of establishment and will very often use their tractors.

Crops therefore risk being abandoned because they cost too much fuel.
