He added, "At a time when the pandemic increased sales in local markets, it reduced opportunities to export to foreign markets, due to the high cost of shipping and supply, but the high local demand compensated for the decline in export opportunities for Emirati companies, due to the positive effects of (Expo 2020) and activity."
