Currently offering 12 electrified versions of its vehicles, Opel is moving up a gear and announces that it wants to manufacture its own high-performance batteries from 2025. The avowed aim is to produce vehicles with a range of 500 to 800 km and capable of recovering a range of 32 km per minute.

From 2024, the Crossland SUV will also be available in an electric version, just like the replacement for the current Insigna.

Opel has also just announced the resurrection of the Manta name, an iconic model from the 70s and 80s which, contrary to what our essay to read here led us to hope, will lose its coupe body in favor of that of an electric SUV with accents sportsmen.

The manufacturer's objective at the "Blitz" is to become 100% zero emissions by 2028.
