The Ministry of Labor released this Thursday morning a major study on the sectors that will recruit in 2030. And good news, nearly 800,000 positions will be available, provided you choose the sector carefully.

Europe 1 returns to these sectors which will be buoyant in a few years. 

Engineers, nurses or teachers: which profession to choose to be sure of finding a job?

This is the question that high school students who are formulating their choices on Parcoursup are currently asking themselves.

The Ministry of Labor released this Thursday morning a major study on the sectors that will recruit in 2030. And good news, nearly 800,000 positions will be available, provided you choose the sector carefully.

The education and care sector will recruit...

Education will, for example, recruit massively, mainly to compensate for the many retirements, we are talking about 320,000 positions within eight years.

The care sector will also be very demanding.

It must be said that one in five French people will be over 65 in 2040. The needs will therefore only increase in the coming years.

And many young people have already turned to these sectors, note the authors of the report.

There will therefore be no shortage of manpower.

On the other hand, the IT sector risks running out of candidates: the very strong digitization of the economy is causing the needs to explode.

And for the moment, the flow of young people who turn to this sector is not sufficient to meet the needs of tomorrow.
