The start of 2022 sees the Citroën C5 Aircross go through the restyling box, starting its second part of its career with some new features.

Launched in 2018, this compact SUV offered both an original style typically Citroën, increased performance and comfort, again specific to the chevron brand.

This recent makeover makes it gain in modernity and stature.

The main changes concern the front face.

The headlamps separated on two levels are now combined in a single block, which elegantly follows the lines of the grille.

They are equipped with LEDs as standard, which receive 3D patterns like "piano keys", which contribute, with the chrome chevrons, to the visual upscaling.

We find the same philosophy at the rear, with more tapered lights than originally, and here darkened to give it a more serious look.

However, those who appreciated this model for its friendly face and its unique look should be reassured.

This new C5 Aircross remains faithful to the current one: the same, but better!

It retains its famous "Airbump" on the bottom of the doors, both a graphic signature and protection against small daily shocks.

Always the king of comfort

The changes are visually more discreet inside.

The dashboard has been redesigned to accommodate a 10-inch touch screen, which has the advantage of being larger and closer to the driver than the previous one, and finally allows direct access to the air conditioning controls.

Another great novelty: the adoption of Citroën Advanced Comfort seats, which offer the softest thickness and support, and are added to the suspensions with progressive hydraulic stops.

The pure Citroën tradition of comfort!

For the rest, this C5 Aircross remains the practical and modular SUV that it was.

Its spaciousness in the rear remains in the upper range of the category, with three individually sliding seats and a boot volume of up to 1,760 litres.

Three engines are available: 130hp petrol or diesel, and 225hp plug-in hybrid.

Its prices start at 27,450€ including tax for the first, and cap at 40,950 for the last.

Already available to order, the new C5 Aircross should arrive in dealerships next May.
