We found that 70% of companies are expected to increase their workforce over the next three years, the highest ever.

According to the Cabinet Office surveyed, it is expected that the number of hires of companies, which had been suppressed by the corona disaster, will recover, but it is necessary to pay attention to the influence of the situation in Ukraine.

This survey was conducted by the Cabinet Office in January, targeting companies listed on the First and Second Sections of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the Nagoya Stock Exchange, respectively, and received responses from 1155 companies, or 42%.

According to this, 70% of companies answered that they expect to increase the number of employees in the next three years, up about 10 points from the previous survey one year ago, and the highest since 1992, which is comparable.

By industry, 79% are machinery manufacturers, 73% are chemical manufacturers, 100% are insurance companies, and 92% are construction companies in the non-manufacturing industry.

The Cabinet Office said, "This is a result that the number of hires of companies that had been suppressed by the corona sickness is expected to recover. You need to be careful if it doesn't change. "
