The first tasks of the commission are to organize monitoring of the situation, take urgent response measures and support businesses and citizens.

“We have a successful track record of overcoming the crises of 2008-2009, 2014-2015 and 2020.

They were caused by different reasons.

But every time Moscow coped with the trials that fell to its lot and eventually became stronger.

So it will be this time too,” Sobyanin said.

Earlier, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin created the Council for Social Protection and Support of Citizens under Sanctions.
