Mastercard suspends services in Russia

This is stated in a company statement.

It is noted that the company decided to suspend the provision of services in Russia due to anti-Russian sanctions.

Thus, cards issued by Russian banks will no longer be supported by the Mastercard system.

Also, Mastercard cards issued outside the country will not work in Russia.

Earlier, the American company Visa announced its intention to suspend work in Russia.
