It is reported that this business is the first online payment transaction of digital renminbi in the national carbon neutral field, and the "Diandian" carbon neutral platform has thus become the first carbon neutral service platform in the country to access digital renminbi application scenarios.
Carbon neutrality refers to the carbon emissions (carbon footprint) directly or indirectly generated by companies, products, activities or individuals within a certain period of time, which are offset through afforestation and the purchase of carbon credits to achieve "net zero emissions".
Since the state announced the carbon neutrality goal of peak carbon, various technological innovations, mechanism innovations, and platform innovations have emerged one after another.
Sichuan United Environment Exchange, as the first carbon trading institution in the non-pilot region of the country to pass the national record, innovatively develops and constructs the "Diandian" carbon neutrality platform, aiming to awaken and cultivate low-carbon society and the public through carbon neutrality activities.
