There are a series of movements among major telecommunications companies to support the collection of information by users by making international calls to Ukraine free of charge.

NTT DoCoMo, KDDI, and Softbank make international calls and SMS, so-called short mails, from Japan to Ukraine free of charge for each user.

The three companies also offer free international roaming services such as calling and data communication for people traveling to Ukraine.

NTT East and NTT West are free of charge for making international calls to Ukraine with Hikari Denwa.

Both are intended for this month's use, and each company says that it is to make it easier to collect local information and confirm safety.

In addition, Rakuten Group has made free calls to landlines and mobile phones in 34 countries, including Ukraine, mainly in Europe, for the free calling app "Viber".

According to the company, this app is used by more than 90% of Ukrainian people.
