Recently, Mr. Qiao, who lives in Chengdu, bought a bottle of liquor at a Taobao store, but unexpectedly received two packages.

One was sent by Jingdong Logistics, which contained the liquor purchased by Mr. Qiao; the other was sent by Yuantong Express, which contained waste cardboard boxes.

How is this going?

Mr. Qiao found a Taobao store that sells wine and asked. He did not expect that although the two packages were delivered from different locations, they were both sent by the store.

The other party said that since the goods need to be shipped through Jingdong Logistics, but they cannot be matched to the Tmall backend, they need to use another express tracking number to match.

Mr. Qiao believes that the store owner violated his privacy by providing his personal delivery information to another courier company without his consent.

  customer:

Buy a bottle of liquor in an online store

but received two packages, one of which is empty

On February 17, Mr. Qiao, who lives in Chengdu, Sichuan, bought a bottle of liquor worth 199 yuan at a Taobao store.

On February 21, Mr. Qiao received the liquor from the courier, but the progress of the courier indicated that he still had a parcel of his own being sent to Chengdu.

When Mr. Qiao received the package, he opened it and found that it was just a scrap of paper from an old cardboard box.

Mr. Qiao found that the wine was sent by Jingdong Express, and the delivery place was Beijing Daxing; while the waste paper was sent by Yuantong Express, and the delivery place was Langfang City, Hebei Province.

Mr. Qiao called the Yuantong courier, and the courier explained that this kind of empty package may be an online store for the purpose of brushing the bill.

Later, Mr. Qiao called Mr. Zeng, the sender on the package, and the other party said that the express was a "gift box" sent by the store after Mr. Qiao bought wine on Taobao.

Mr. Qiao then contacted the seller's customer service, and the customer service replied that the wine was delivered by Jingdong Express, but since the logistics information of Jingdong Express could not match the Tmall backend, it was necessary to use the tracking number of Yuantong Express to make the warehouse, so there was no courier's office. Speaking of billing.

Mr. Qiao believes that he only purchased one product, but the merchant found two courier companies for delivery, and the delivery addresses of the two couriers were not the same. He provided his personal information without his consent. a third party.

After communicating with the merchant to no avail, Mr. Qiao reported to 12315, expecting the relevant departments to deal with the merchant in accordance with the law and compensate for the risk of his information being leaked.

  Online shop:

The logistics of sending physical goods and Taobao did not cooperate

Empty package just to fill in the courier number

On February 28, the reporter contacted the merchant, who told the reporter that in order to facilitate customers' purchasing experience, they chose to use JD Logistics for delivery, but since Taobao could not fill in the order number of JD Logistics, the transaction page would always display Unavailable. The goods were delivered, so they chose to use Yuantong Express to send an empty package to Mr. Qiao in order to upload the tracking number.

The merchant also emphasized that this is not a fraudulent order.

Mr. Qiao said that the seller did not communicate with himself in advance that they would ship in this form, "If the seller told me in advance that they would send my goods to two express companies, I would immediately refuse to buy. Because of this transaction method , clearly violated my personal information."

Taobao staff said in their reply to reporters that Taobao merchants can choose Jingdong Logistics for delivery, but when filling in the express order number, they need to choose "other logistics".

Since Taobao and Jingdong Express do not cooperate, the tracking number and logistics information will not be displayed, and abnormal orders may indeed occur.

The Taobao staff also said that it is not recommended for merchants to do this. The store's practices are illegal and can be complained on the Taobao page.
