On March 2, in the section from Taiyangcun Station in Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province, to Liuzhou West Station on the Guizhou-Guangxi Railway, hundreds of workers were replacing a pair of railway rails with a length of more than 500 meters.

This is the first large-scale rail replacement construction of the Guangxi District Railway after the Spring Festival.

From February 26, more than 1,300 operators and 36 large-scale road maintenance machinery in Liuzhou Public Works Machinery Section of China Railway Nanning Bureau Group Company have carried out hooking machines at 23 operating points such as Qiangui Line, Jiao Liu Line and Xianggui Line. Pillow replacement, mechanical cleaning and other work will continue until the end of April.

Most of the main railway lines in Guangxi belong to mountain railways, with complex geological conditions and weak equipment foundation. During the Spring Festival travel period, the railway lines were rolled over by trains for a long time, and the line equipment was damaged to varying degrees.

To this end, the railway department has carried out major repairs and constructions on various railways in Guangxi to comprehensively eliminate potential safety hazards of line equipment and ensure smooth operation of trains.
