China News Service, Zhangzhou, March 2 (Zhang Jinchuan Liao Zhenmei) For the past few days, the "Hometown of Loquats in China", in the thousands of acres of loquat forests in Heping Township, Heping Township, Yunxiao County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, loquat fruit hanging in silver bags filled the mountains and plains. , just like the "loquat snow scene", attracting many tourists to check in.

Yushu Village is located at the foot of Wushan Mountain, with high mountains and dense forests, abundant rainfall, and a large amount of selenium-rich soil, suitable for planting high-quality loquats.

In order to effectively avoid the damage of fruit cracking caused by the cold weather in winter and spring, fruit farmers will put bags on loquats. From a distance, the whole loquat garden is particularly spectacular and charming.

"The loquats are now eight or nine points ripe, and they will be listed one after another starting in March." Wu Suhua, a villager of Yushu Village, was overjoyed when interviewed by a reporter from China News Agency on the 2nd, "Today, another wave of merchants from Guangdong came to order loquats, and merchants from Beijing. Because of the online live broadcast and offline sales of loquats, Wu Suhua is known as "Sister Loquat".

Wu Suhua told reporters that the temperature in Fujian this year is lower than in previous years, and the launch of a large number of loquats is about a month later than in previous years.

Wu Suhua, 36, worked outside before 2008 with a monthly salary of 2,500 yuan (RMB, the same below).

Later, she returned to her hometown to manage the five or six acres of loquats at home. In 2013, she began to sell loquats through e-commerce. In 2020, under the new crown pneumonia epidemic, she organized a live broadcast of loquats with the sisters in the village, "wading the water" live broadcast economy, and tasted the sweetness.

"Last year there was little rain and plenty of sunshine, and the loquat market was very good. The net income of my online and offline sales of loquats was nearly 400,000 yuan." Wu Suhua said with a smile. In recent years, the loquat industry has driven the development of the entire Yushu Village, and the villagers' income keep growing.

Today, Wu Suhua sells loquat products such as loquat paste, loquat flowers, and loquat candies in addition to live broadcasts.

"Sometimes, my income from selling loquats is as high as tens of thousands of yuan a day, which I never dreamed of before."

"While I am selling loquats live, I will also promote the beauty of my hometown." In Wu Suhua's view, since the country's implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, the rural roads in his hometown have been improved, the ecological environment has become better, and there are also loquat plank roads and streams along the stream. Play trails and other facilities to attract more people to experience rural tourism.

In the village, some villagers saw that Wu Suhua's live broadcast of loquats was booming, and they were eager to try the live broadcast route.

But more villagers are still guarding their own acres of loquats, selling local agricultural products to tourists, and living comfortably.

Villager Wu Jianmin told reporters that in the past, when he worked outside, he only had 10,000 yuan left after deducting food and lodging for a year; now he has food and lodging at his own home, and the annual income from growing loquats and selling them to tourists is 50,000 yuan, which is much more than working outside.

"Yunxiao loquat is moderately sweet and has a good reputation. Tourists like to buy it. I will add tourists to WeChat and send it to them."

Heping Township has 22,000 mu of loquats, which is the largest loquat production base in Yunxiao County, mainly planting "Zaozhong No. 6" loquats.

In order to facilitate local trading of loquats during the peak season, there is also a loquat trading market in the Loquat Ecological Tourism Park, which is quite lively during the trading season.

"The four major industries of loquat, tea, e-commerce, and rural tourism promote each other to form an industrial chain that supports the development of Heping Township and promote rural revitalization." Fang Hang, deputy mayor of Heping Township, said.
