According to the data, as of the end of January 2022, 53,800 designated medical institutions have been connected to the national direct settlement of hospitalization expenses across provinces.

In January, 433,800 person-times of hospitalization expenses across the country were directly settled across provinces, involving 10.259 billion yuan of medical expenses, 5.871 billion yuan of fund payment, and the fund payment ratio was 57.2%; the average daily direct settlement was 14,000 person-times, and the average medical cost was 23,600 yuan. The average fund pays 13,500 yuan per time.
