Yu Dejiang is one of the first entrepreneurs in Dayu Village. The Taiyou Family Ranch he runs is the largest feed processing enterprise in the village.
In 2021, the sales volume of pasture feed reached a new high, and Yu Dejiang was very happy: "Sufficient electricity provides a guarantee for us to process feed in large quantities, and it also allows me to make money."
Before starting his business, Yu Dejiang worked in a livestock product processing factory in Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. Soon, Yu Dejiang discovered a business opportunity: the development of animal husbandry in Guinan County is very strong, and the demand for feed is large.
In 2008, Yu Dejiang saw business opportunities and resolutely returned to his hometown to set up a small feed processing workshop with a monthly income of about 5,000 yuan.
Because of the good quality, Yu Dejiang's feed has a good reputation in Shili Baxiang.
At the beginning of 2016, he reorganized the workshop, bought a grinder and a mixer, and established Taiyou Family Farm.
In April 2016, the State Grid Qinghai Guinan County Power Supply Company carried out a large-scale upgrade of the power distribution network in Dayu Village, replacing the power supply lines of 10 kV and below.
In the second half of the year, relying on sufficient power security, Yu Dejiang rapidly expanded the scale of production, and the turnover of the ranch that year exceeded 150,000 yuan.
When he became rich, Yu Dejiang recruited three villagers from the same village to work in the ranch and paid them more than 2,000 yuan per month.
After the winter of 2021, Guinan County will be colder than in previous years. As the time for grazing cattle and sheep outside decreases, the demand for feed has increased significantly.
At the end of October, Yu Dejiang immediately purchased equipment to expand production, so he applied to the power supply company for capacity expansion.
State Grid Qinghai Guinan County Power Supply Company employee Wu Yongliang and his colleagues immediately visited the house to investigate the power consumption situation and formulate a power supply plan. The capacity is greatly improved.
"The construction time of the power supply company was half as short as I expected, and the new equipment was put into use ahead of schedule." Yu Dejiang recalled.
Today, Taiyou Family Ranch produces more than 3,000 catties of feed per day.
In Guinan County, there are nearly 100 small and micro enterprises like Taiyou Family Ranch.
During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, the State Grid Guinan County Power Supply Company built and renovated 1,654.852 kilometers of lines of 10 kV and below, and built and renovated 359 transformers.
From 2021 to 2025, it is planned to build and expand a total of 6 110kV and 35kV substations, build and transform 115 transformers, and build and transform 412 kilometers of 10kV and below lines, providing sufficient supply for the development of the county’s animal husbandry industry. guarantee.
