According to a survey conducted by the employment information site "Mynavi" targeting companies nationwide in February, nearly 60% of the companies that answered that the number of university students graduating next spring will be "same as the previous year". On the other hand, the number of companies that answered "increase" was about 19% for liberal arts and about 23% for science, both of which are more than 5 points higher than the previous year, and there is a growing movement to increase hiring.



By industry, the percentage of companies that answered “increase” hiring increased in a wide range of industries, of which about 22% were in the humanities for “service infrastructure” such as eating out and transportation that were hit by the new corona. It increased by more than 6 points from the previous year.



In addition, the implementation rate of internships prior to recruitment activities has exceeded the previous year in most of the months since June last year due to the advancement of the use of online formats due to the corona disaster.
