  Hefei Fengchuang Photomask Co., Ltd. is a cooperative foreign-funded enterprise of Hefei Sino-German Innovation Center. It settled in Hefei High-tech Zone in 2017 and invested more than 1 billion yuan to establish a 10.5-generation FPD photomask project.

The project has improved the localization supporting capabilities of photomasks, and also improved the industrial chain construction of the Hefei Display Industry Cluster.

  Talking about the development in the past few years, Wu Fan said that this is the most challenging and stressful job he has ever experienced. He has no experience to follow, and there are not many similar models and platforms for reference in China. Starting a business is difficult. Obvious.

"The establishment of the Sino-German Innovation Center is itself an innovation and an "adventure". Since the establishment of the center, due to the time difference with Germany, it has often been busy until 2 o'clock at night. The internationalization level of Hefei is constantly improving, and the future can be expected."

  At present, Wu Fan is actively connecting with several well-known universities in Germany. In the future, he will use the first-class teaching team of German universities, entrepreneurial student resources, and advanced technology to promote in-depth exchanges between Anhui and German enterprises, and to do a good job of think tank and cooperation for enterprises to "go global". Cultivate services, and help enterprises to match overseas cooperation units.

"We have been preparing for the cooperation project with German University for more than half a year. At present, the cooperation model is basically clear. It is expected that the project will be launched in mid-2022."

  Wu Fan believes that 2022 is the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Germany, which is a very rare opportunity for China-Germany relations, especially the cooperation between Hefei and Anhui with Germany.

"The Sino-German Innovation Center will always adhere to the concept of win-win cooperation, technological co-creation, and humanistic empathy, assist Chinese and German enterprises to cooperate, and contribute to the international development of their hometown."

  It is reported that Germany will invest US$330 million in Anhui in 2021, mainly in the auto parts and accessories manufacturing industry.

Ten new German-funded enterprises were established, and the number of newly established enterprises increased by 100% year-on-year, mainly in the manufacturing, scientific research and technical service industries.
