Dubai Electricity and Water Authority is participating in the "UAE Innovates 2022" activities with several activities, including the "Innovation Week" 2022 from February 22 to 28, and it held a series of virtual "Future Horizons" seminars, in addition to a series of workshops and seminars.
The Innovation Tent at the authority's main center and festival garden at Expo 2020 Dubai also hosted the authority's most prominent projects and innovative initiatives.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, said: "The annual national event (UAE Innovates) reflects the critical importance that the rational leadership attaches to innovation and the unlimited support provided by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Dubai, to consolidate a culture of innovation and devise creative solutions and ideas to ensure a brighter and more sustainable future for our current and future generations.
Within the framework of its vision to be a global leader, sustainable and innovative, the authority adopts innovation and is committed to making it a daily practice in the work of the government, and to enhance community participation in the design and development of innovative future business models and proactive solutions to the challenges of the next fifty years.”
The innovation tent at the authority’s main center hosted more than 60 events and workshops organized by the authority on innovation, disruptive technologies and the techniques of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The individual and the society according to an integrated strategy and solid foundations that contribute to achieving comprehensive and sustainable development. Among the most prominent of these projects is the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority program, which works to enhance reliability and operational efficiency, including preventive maintenance of the electricity and water networks (planning, production, transmission and distribution).
