A bit of good news on this very dark day, and it's from the French train that it comes!

Still affected by the coronavirus pandemic, the SNCF straightened out its accounts in 2021, even making a net profit of 890 million euros thanks to the sale of the wagon rental company Ermewa, according to figures published on Thursday.

The public group, which had lost three billion euros in 2020, would only lose 185 million without this exceptional product.

Its turnover increased by 15% to 34.75 billion euros last year, almost returning to its 2019 level.
