All flights stopped.. "Iraq Air" employees are on strike

Today, Thursday, RT correspondent in Iraq reported that Iraqi Airways employees went on strike and suspended flights scheduled for today.

Our correspondent stated that the Iraqi Airways employees submitted a paper they called “the reformatory” related to some demands, including separating the airline from the Ministry of Transport and making it an independent body, and granting the director of the lines full powers.

He added, they also demanded that airlines be directly linked to the Council of Ministers.

Our correspondent pointed out that the suspension of flights caused inconvenience to travelers, as the airport witnessed some chaos.
