On the first shots of the i7 revealed by BMW, we can see a prototype camouflaged in a laboratory where acoustic tests are carried out.

As BMW's electric flagship, this new model must of course be as soundproofed as possible.

A real challenge since in the absence of thermal mechanics, any parasitic noise is more easily perceived.

That's why BMW is working hard to create the quietest car possible.

After having developed an electric sound by the composer of film music Hans Zimmer, the manufacturer is working on innovations, such as tires with a foam absorber, a complete fairing under the car, or even extremely aerodynamic mirrors.

The i7 should be presented at the same time as the new 7 Series, within a few months.
