It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the statement of the EC.

The corresponding notice states that under the current conditions, the Ukrainian authorities are not able to control the goods coming from these regions.

Thus, these goods are not subject to preferences in the European Union market in accordance with the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement.



“Operators in the EU are advised not to apply for preferences when importing goods into the EU from regions of Ukraine that are not controlled by the government,” the document says.

Earlier, the French Delegation to the European Union said that EU permanent representatives agreed on the technical details of sanctions for Russia's recognition of the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics.
