Abu Dhabi Investment Office partners with “Wolf’s” to support bicycle tourism
The Abu Dhabi Investment Office has entered into a new partnership with the company "Wolves" specialized in bicycles and its accessories, within the framework of the "innovation program" of the office, worth two billion dirhams, which aims to provide support to companies looking to develop and grow their businesses in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Yesterday's statement stated that "Wolves" is the first company operating in the tourism sector to benefit from the "Innovation Program", in line with the emirate's goals to develop investment opportunities and achieve sustainable tourism development.
The Abu Dhabi Investment Office will provide financial and non-financial support to the "Wolf's" chain to supplement its efforts with more capabilities, to promote the spread and practice of cycling, and the various activities associated with it, and to support Abu Dhabi's vision of becoming a global cycling center, as well as providing tourists with new and innovative transportation methods, to explore Landmarks and various tourist sites in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Taking advantage of Abu Dhabi Investment’s support, Wolfie’s will open four showrooms in Al Hudayriat, “Reem Mall” on Reem Island, “Yas Marina Circuit” and Abu Dhabi Cycling Club in Al Ain, all of which will provide various options for renting or owning Bicycles, and the company's branch in "Al Hudayriat" will enjoy the largest exhibition of bicycles in the Middle East.
The head of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, Muhammad Ali Al-Shurafa, said that Abu Dhabi continues its tireless efforts to develop the tourism sector, within the framework of diversifying sources of income from value-added economic activities.
He added: "The innovation program provides a strong boost to ambitious companies that are looking to take advantage of the great opportunities available in the growing tourism sector in the emirate, by supporting their efforts and enabling them to consolidate Abu Dhabi's position as a global tourist destination," stressing that we will continue to work with various private sector companies, to provide jobs, attracting human competencies, developing a global infrastructure, and setting an ambitious and clear vision for the future.
