This is undoubtedly a new pressure from Tehran, while the negotiations in Vienna seem to be nearing the end, reports our correspondent in Tehran,

Siavosh Ghazi

.

Signed by 250 of the 290 deputies of Parliament, this declaration asks the government of President Raissi to obtain several guarantees.

First of all, that the United States and European countries will not leave the nuclear agreement, and will not impose new sanctions against Tehran.

But also that Washington cancel all sanctions against Iran since 2018, including sanctions against the ballistic program or for violation of human rights.

The declaration also asks that the United States and European countries commit to not triggering the so-called “snap back” sanctions mechanism, which will allow the reimposition of UN sanctions against Iran.

However, Washington has already affirmed that it could not give such guarantees.

This comes as President Macron asked Iranian President Ebrahim Raissi in a phone interview to seize the opportunity to strike a deal without wasting time.

But Iran is in no hurry.

Indeed, the Iranian Foreign Minister affirmed on Saturday February 20 in Munich that Iran had taken the necessary steps and that it

was now up to the West

to make a gesture.

If Iran is not in a hurry, Israeli government officials are worried about a new Iranian nuclear deal being signed in Vienna in the coming days.

No question of allowing Iran to acquire an atomic weapon for them, reports our correspondent in Jerusalem,

Michel Paul

.

From the opening of the weekly Council of Ministers in Jerusalem, the Israeli Prime Minister did not hide his concern about the possible signing in Vienna of a new Iranian nuclear agreement.

For Naftali Bennett, “

two things have happened since the initial signing – the Iranians have made great strides in their uranium enrichment capabilities and time has passed.

The new agreement that is emerging is shorter and weaker in scope than the previous one.

In any case, we, Israel, are preparing for the next day, in all dimensions, so that we can maintain the security of our people on our own

There is no doubt that Tehran will take advantage of the new arrangement to finance regional terrorism, said the Israeli Prime Minister.

Same tone adopted by Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz, who was speaking at the Munich security conference.

He proclaimed that his country would never allow Iran to become a nuclear threshold state.

In addition, the Israeli minister asserted that the nuclear-capable ballistic missile program developed by Iran must be stopped.
