At UMEX, a conference on unmanned defense systems which has just opened in Abu Dhabi, the latest technologies are presented, particularly in terms of drones.

The host country has nevertheless warned about the use of these small unmanned aircraft, which are becoming cheaper and more widespread.

These devices are used for terrorist purposes by certain groups

," said the UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, for example.

We must unite to prevent the use of drones (as a tool) to threaten the safety of civilians and destroy economic institutions,

" said the UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs.

In recent weeks, the United Arab Emirates has been the target of several drone attacks.

The last took place on February 2 and caused no casualties.
