At about 13:04, Urumqi International Airport launched a yellow emergency response to large-scale flight delays.

At present, the runway visual range (RVR) of this field is 2100/1000/2100 meters from east to west.

As of 13:30, there were 238 scheduled outbound flights, 67 of which had taken off, 63 delayed and 22 cancelled; 235 scheduled inbound flights throughout the day, 43 had taken off from the other station and 18 had landed. 7 sorties (1 in Karamay, 3 in Turpan, 2 in Dunhuang, 1 in Kuqa).
