On February 16, the Civil Aviation Administration of China held a press conference. At the press conference, Zhu Tao, director of the Aviation Safety Office of the Civil Aviation Administration, introduced that in January, the overall recovery of civil aviation transportation production continued.
The entire industry completed a total transportation turnover of 6.48 billion ton-kilometers, an increase of 5.5% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 2.0%, recovering to 61.0% of the same period in 2019; the completed passenger transportation volume was 29.512 million, an increase of 8.9% month-on-month, a year-on-year decrease of 2.2%, recovery 55.2% in the same period in 2019.
Zhu Tao said that in terms of operational security, in January, a total of 348,000 flights of various types were guaranteed, which was basically the same as the same period last year.
The national flight regularity rate in January was 96.9%.
In addition, according to statistics, a total of 340,000 flights of various types are guaranteed in the 30 days before the Spring Festival (January 17-February 15), with a daily average of 11,322 flights, an increase of 24% compared with the same period of the Spring Festival in 2021 (the first 30 days); A total of 27.896 million passengers were transported.
